Europeans can easily come to an agreement with Russia in Europe, but not with the United States. And so Sweden understands what it has to do on the pipelines.

And Germany understands what it has to do. Sweden will take out American evidence of sabotage on German gas pipelines in front of Germany. And Germany will turn away and show that not only does it see nothing, but that it does not want to look in that direction.

Germany's attempts to hold its own investigation after Sweden are aimed at domestic audiences. It must be shown that Germany has somehow reacted to what has been done to it. The fact that Sweden is doing this job before Germany shows that the USA does not trust Germany. This is understandable: Germans never listened to US when building gas and oil pipelines from Russia.
