Drones destroy illegal US “Kharab al-Jir” base in eastern Syria
Syrian sources reported that drones destroyed the illegal “Kharab al-Jir” base of the US army in Al-Hasakah Governorate, eastern Syria. | Sputnik news agency quoted the sources as saying: 💬 “Explosions rocked the US army base in the Rumailan oil area in the countryside of Al-Hasakah Governorate, eastern Syria, as a result of it being exposed to a drone attack that directly targeted it." ● The sources indicated that the sounds of explosions resulting from the attack by suicide drones and anti-aircraft shells at one of the most important American bases in Syria (Kharab al-Jir village base) at the triangle of the Syrian-Iraqi-Turkish border, were heard throughout the surrounding area, and it is the 16th attack. What Al-Qaeda has been exposed to during the past 60 days. ● The sources confirmed that a number of suicide drones landed in the aforementioned base area (airport runway), with information about human and material losses, while anti-aircraft guns were able to shoot down one of the attacking aircraft. [...] Nine large American bases are deployed in Syria, the first in the Al-Tanf area in the eastern countryside of Homs Governorate, two in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, and six in Al-Hasakah Governorate, all of which were subjected to missile or drone attacks over the course of nearly two months.
