Permalink Straight Out of the Loony Bin: WEF Member Calls for Farming to Be ‘Serious Crime,’ Equal to ‘Genocide’

A speaker at the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland has called on globalist elites to push for farming to be labeled a “serious crime.” | Speaking from the WEF’s summit at the luxury Swiss ski resort, “Stop Ecocide Now” founder Jojo Mehta argued that fishing and framing should be considered equal to “genocide.” Mehta insisted that fishing and farming for food should be a “serious crime” while arguing that it is immoral to make money from these industries. “We have this cultural, very ingrained habit of not taking damage to nature as seriously as we take damage to people or property,” she told world leaders, bureaucrats, and corporate elites at the event. She continued by claiming that farming, fishing, and presumably hunting, are “mass damage and destruction of nature.”

Permalink Al Jazeera documents more mass summary executions by Israeli troops

With each passing day, there is growing evidence that Israeli troops are functioning as mobile mass execution parties in Gaza. On Thursday, Al Jazeera published video interviews of residents of an apartment building in Gaza City, where residents said Israeli troops systematically tortured and executed 15 men. Heba Selem, a witness, stated: 💬 “They stripped them of their clothes except for their boxers and forced them to lay on their stomachs on the floor. They started to execute the men on the floor. They didn’t leave anyone. I swear to God, they turned the entire place into a bloodbath.  “It’s a day you can’t forget, I can’t forget it.” Her husband was killed during the execution. “After they tortured my husband in front of us and they broke his jaw, and beat up his face, they beat him until his arms were bleeding. They stripped all the men, tortured them, and humiliated them, then executed them. That all happened while we watched.”

The “Israeli” regime has ramped up its US-backed aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip despite claims about shifting to a "low-intensity phase" in the months-long genocidal war in the besieged territory. | Palestinian media reported on Saturday a surge in “Israeli” attacks in the south of the Gaza Strip, citing witnesses as saying that the regime’s bombardment was mostly focused overnight on Khan Yunis in the south as well as on Jabalia in the north. Permalink Israeli army gassed my son ‘like Auschwitz,’ mother of slain Israeli soldier says

An outraged Israeli mom has sparked an uproar after accusing the Israeli army of deliberately gassing her son to death while he was being held in a Gaza tunnel. Now she says the Israeli military had her son’s gravestone removed after her critical message went viral.  His killing follows a pattern of Israeli military attacks on Israeli captives in Gaza, raising questions about the existence of a friendly fire policy to prevent prisoner swaps. | The mother of a now-dead Israeli soldier captured by Hamas militants on October 7 says it was the Israeli military, not Palestinian resistance fighters, who killed her son. In a recently-published post on Facebook, Israeli mother Maayan Sherman wrote that her son Ron was “indeed murdered – not by Hamas,” but in circumstances more akin to “Auschwitz and the showers.” The killing of her son, she wrote, was caused “not from accidental gunfire, nor from crossfire, but from premeditated murder – bombing with poison gas.”

Permalink Chinese scientists 'create' Covid strain with 100% kill rate in mice

Eight rodents infected with the pathogen 'surprisingly' died within eight days. Critics of the study said: 'This madness must be stopped before [it is] too late' | Chinese scientists have been experimenting with a mutant coronavirus strain that is 100 percent lethal in mice — despite concerns such research could spark another pandemic. Scientists in Beijing — who are linked to the Chinese military — cloned a Covid-like virus found in pangolins, known as GX_P2V, and used it to infect mice.  The mice had been 'humanized', meaning they were engineered to express a protein found in people, with the goal being to assess how the virus might react in humans. Every rodent that was infected with the pathogen died within eight days, which the researchers described as 'surprisingly' quick.  The team were also surprised to find high levels of viral load in the mice's brains and eyes - suggesting the virus, despite being related to Covid, multiplies and spreads through the body in a unique way. Writing in a scientific paper that has not yet been published, they warned the finding 'underscores a spillover risk of GX_P2V into humans'.

Permalink SHOCK: Troops from French Foreign Legion Killed in Ukraine

France is sending active duty troops to Ukraine | The French Ambassador was summoned today to the Russian Foreign Ministry. During that meeting, the Ambassador was asked why troops from the French Foreign Legion, and active duty troops from the French Army were in Ukraine to fight the Russian Army and why Russia should not simply declare that France is waging war upon Russia? The Ambassador did not have a good answer. Hal Turner Editorial Opinion: Once again, countries of the collective West are shown to be sneaks and liars. Only this time, they've been caught red-handed and suddenly, the boisterous West has nothing to say. Permalink UK-Ukraine security deal derails peace prospects – Moscow

The agreement makes Kiev an “Anglo-Saxon bargaining chip,” the Russian Foreign Ministry says | The security agreement signed last week by Ukraine and the UK is further proof that London is maintaining a firm grip on the Kiev government and is eliminating any prospect of peace, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said.  On Friday, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced a £2.5 billion ($3.2 billion) military assistance package for Ukraine – Britain’s largest to date. The two sides also signed a ten-year security guarantee, with the UK pledging “swift and sustained” aid for Ukraine in the event of a Russian attack in future. Kiev also promised to come to Britain’s defense in the event of Russian “aggression” against the country.  Speaking at a press briefing on Wednesday, Zakharova suggested that the deal was an indication that “Ukraine is literally being stripped of any chance to get out of the conflict through negotiations.” As a result, Kiev is being turned into “a bargaining chip in the reckless ventures of the Anglo-Saxons,” she added, claiming that the UK wants to keep the country in conflict with Russia.

Permalink IOF's new massacre in Gaza: At least 30 martyred, dozens wounded

The occupation commits a new massacre in the Gaza Strip as it continues to target Palestinian homes and shelters. | Today, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that 33 Palestinians were brutally killed and dozens were injured as a result of the intense Israeli bombing of residential homes in Gaza City at dawn.  Our correspondent also noted that occupation aircraft launched raids on the city of Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip and east of Khan Younis, to the south of Gaza, at dawn. He stressed that Israeli occupation artillery is violently targeting the center of Khan Younis, in addition to violent and continuous bombing by the IOF targeting homes of Palestinians near a school being used as a refuge by Palestinians who fled their homes in al-Maghazi camp, central Gaza Strip.

Almost 24,000 Palestinians were martyred, more than 60,000 injured – The spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, presented yesterday a detailed report on the number of victims resulting from the IOF's aggression and genocide in Gaza. He pointed out that yesterday, on the 100th day of the brutal Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, the occupation deliberately surveyed residential neighborhoods spreading in an attempt to scare Palestinian families.  Al-Qudra announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression had risen to 23,968 martyrs and 60,582 injuries since October 7, 2023, with 70% of the victims being children and women. In total, the occupation committed more than 2,000 massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip.  Many international organizations and bodies warned earlier against the continuation of the current situation in the Gaza Strip, describing what is happening as a genocidal war. The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor spoke in a detailed report on Sunday, marking the 100th day of the Israeli war on Gaza, of the victims of the genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, noting that there are 100,000 Palestinians who are martyred, missing, or wounded, and that "Israel" has committed horrific crimes in the bloodiest statistic in modern history.
