Permalink Julian Assange’s Final Appeal

Chris Hedges | Julian Assange will make his final appeal this week to the British courts to avoid extradition. If he is extradited it is the death of investigations into the inner workings of power by the press. | If Julian Assange is denied permission to appeal his extradition to the United States before a panel of two judges at the High Court in London this week, he will have no recourse left within the British legal system. His lawyers can ask the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) for a stay of execution under Rule 39, which is given in “exceptional circumstances” and “only where there is an imminent risk of irreparable harm.” But it is far from certain that the British court will agree. It may order Julian’s immediate extradition prior to a Rule 39 instruction or may decide to ignore a request from the ECtHR to allow Julian to have his case heard by the court. [...] Julian’s “crime” is that he published classified documents, internal messages, reports and videos from the U.S. government and U.S. military in 2010, which were provided by U.S. army whistleblower Chelsea Manning. This vast trove of material revealed massacres of civilians, torture, assassinations, the list of detainees held at Guantanamo Bay and the conditions they were subjected to, as well as the Rules of Engagement in Iraq. Those who perpetrated these crimes — including the U.S. helicopter pilots who gunned down two Reuters journalists and 10 other civilians and severely injured two children, all captured in the Collateral Murder video — have never been prosecuted.

Permalink U.K. data reveal PANDEMIC of the VACCINATED from 2021 to 2023

Analyzing the excess mortality of vaccinated people | It wasn’t long ago when governments and public health authorities around the world demanded that every person show their vaccine status to exercise basic freedoms. That totalitarian scheme ultimately backfired. Many of the people who once flaunted their vaccine status and called for “vaccine passports” are dying suddenly anyway, and now they have become a pariah, as their cause of death and vaccine status is concealed from the public. But the irony is: Vaccine records are archived and population mortality data are being analyzed, and this data tells a horrifying story.  According to data from the U.K. Health Security Agency, (UKHSA) there have been approximately 61,000 unvaccinated deaths and approximately one million vaccinated deaths from 2021 to 2023. During this time, populations have been deceived. While everyone has been harmed in some way, we have collectively suffered through a pandemic of the vaccinated. The mortality data out of the UK screams of crimes against humanity.

Permalink UNESCO: Censoring free speech

When the WEF called 'misinformation' the single largest identified risk in early 2024, it was the latest call of many, with an express, not-so-carefully-hidden objective. | It seems strange that we, in the west, have to put up with even dealing with this question, given that our entire framework fundamentally rests upon a cornerstone of free speech. Yet, here we are. But where did this drive come from?  And in that regard - yes, a number of recent initiatives exist, including those outlined by Shellenberger. But they don't step back in time to identify the roots - which incidentally is where these issues will have to be addressed. Or else the issue will just come right back when you least expect it, in much the same way those dandelions on your neighbours lawn arrive on yours.

AUG 1, 2014 | Ukrainian Journalist Openly Calls for Genocide on Hromadske TV, Financed by the US and the Netherlands Hromadske TV is now officially the Ukrainian version of Rwandan RTLM. Just like RTLM called for the extermination of the Tutsi, calling them Inyenzi, or cockroaches, so now Hromadske TV is legitimizing the genocide of the population of Novorossiya. From Inyenzi to Colorados, we have come full circle. Hromadske TV, this mouthpiece of Ukrainian genocide, is financed directly by US and Dutch embassies. The blood of the population of Novorossiya is on all our hands – we have allowed this to happen. Please circulate this as widely as you can and stand witness to this Holocaust.

Transcript: “It’s perfectly simple. You need to kill 1.5 million people in Donbass”. Translated from Ukrainian by Valentina Lisitsa | Bogdan Boutkevitch: Ok, you ask me “How can this be happening?” Well, it happens because Donbass, in general, is not simply a region in a very depressed condition, it has got a whole number of problems, the biggest of which is that it is severely overpopulated with people nobody has any use for. Trust me I know perfectly well what I am saying.

If we take, for example, just the Donetsk oblast, there are approximately 4 million inhabitants, at least 1.5 million of which are superfluous. That’s what I mean: we don’t need to [try to] “understand” Donbass, we need to understand Ukrainian national interests.

Donbass must be exploited as a resource, which it is. I don’t claim to have a quick solution recipe, but the most important thing that must be done – no matter how cruel it may sound – is that there is a certain category of people that must be exterminated.

The proposed legislation could potentially criminalize those who oppose mRNA gene therapy treatments. This strict law was passed discreetly with minimal discussion. It has the potential to incarcerate individuals who speak against the use of therapeutic or preventive measures (including experimental mRNA gene therapy) for a maximum of 3 years. Those labeled as “anti-vaxxers” would also face a substantial fine of 45,000 Euros ($48,500).

Permalink World court to discuss legal consequences of Israel's Palestine occupation

ICJ's historic hearings involve 52 nations addressing the legal consequences of Israel's Palestine occupation since 1967. | The UN's top court will hold hearings on the legal consequences of Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories since 1967, with an unprecedented 52 countries expected to give evidence. Nations, including the United States, Russia and China, will address judges in a week-long session starting from Monday at the Peace Palace in The Hague, the seat of the International Court of Justice (ICJ).  In December 2022, the UN General Assembly asked the ICJ for a non-binding "advisory opinion" on the "legal consequences arising from the policies and practices of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem." While any ICJ opinion would be non-binding, it comes amid mounting international legal pressure on Israel over the war in Gaza after the October 7 attacks.

Different from genocide case — The hearings are separate from a high-profile case brought by South Africa alleging that Israel is committing genocidal acts during the current war on Gaza. Israel is not participating in the hearings and reacted angrily to the 2022 UN request, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling it "despicable" and "disgraceful".  The week after the UN resolution, Israel announced a series of sanctions against the Palestinian Authority to make it "pay the price" for pushing for it. On Friday, it rejected South Africa's bid to impose additional measures on Israel but reiterated the need to carry out the ruling in full.

'Prolonged occupation' — The General Assembly has asked the ICJ to consider two questions. Firstly, the court should examine the legal consequences of what the UN called "the ongoing violation by Israel of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination". This relates to the "prolonged occupation, settlement and annexation of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967" and "measures aimed at altering the demographic composition, character and status of the Holy City of Jerusalem".  The ICJ has also been asked to look into the consequences of what it described as Israel's "adoption of related discriminatory legislation and measures." Secondly, the ICJ should advise on how Israel's actions "affect the legal status of the occupation" and what are the consequences for the UN and other countries. The court will rule "urgently" on the affair, probably by the end of the year.
