Permalink The United States and Europe are Hell Bent on Sparking World War III

Larry Johnson | The United States and Europe are Hell Bent on Sparking World War III | The U.S. and Europe — the Brits in particular — are out of control and flouting international law as they carry out military strikes in Yemen, Syria and Iraq. The West claims it is an act of self-defense, but instead of killing or arresting specific individuals responsible for attacks, are engaged in collective punishment. I think we are coming to a point where anger against the West is going to boil over and the U.S. and Europe will get a taste of their own medicine. All of this was avoidable, but the U.S. and Britain have convinced their citizens that attacks on foreign countries without the backing of the UN is entirely appropriate. It is not. These actions shred international support for the U.S. proclaimed “rules-based international order.” The latest incident to spark outrage is a hellfire missile strike in Baghdad. [...] The rage against the West is not confined to the Middle East. A video was posted tonight showing a couple of Russian gentlemen confronting British diplomats at a restaurant in Moscow. The anger is real and growing.

Permalink Israeli lawmakers to 'deny' or 'play down' October 7 punishable by 5 years in prison

“The Israeli Knesset approves a bill that would make denying or 'downplaying' the Israeli October 7 story punishable by up to 5 years in prison,” the Palestinian Quds News Network reported. | “The approved bill is one of three bills that include the expulsion of families of Palestinians who resist, imprisonment for those who deny Israel's October 7 narrative, and compensation for the infamous ZAKA organization.” The ZAKA unit is known for pushing the most ridiculous horror propaganda about Hamas beheading babies and cutting the baby out of a pregnant woman's womb. [...] No doubt they want to use this law to jail journalists from Haaretz and other Israeli news organizations, who have debunked much of the atrocity propaganda Israel spread after October 7. The Times of Israel published an article last week arguing that questioning Israeli narratives about October 7 is a form of “Holocaust denial” and urging that Big Tech should do more to clamp down on such “unacceptable” statements censor.

Permalink 28 Palestinians killed in Rafah after Netanyahu says invasion ‘inevitable’

Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 28 Palestinians in Rafah, hours after Israel’s prime minister said he asked the military to plan for the evacuation of the southern Gaza city ahead of a ground invasion. | Benjamin Netanyahu did not provide details or a timeline, but the announcement set off widespread panic. More than half of Gaza’s 2.3 million people are packed into Rafah, many after being uprooted repeatedly by Israeli evacuation orders that now cover two-thirds of Gaza’s territory.  Word of the invasion plans capped a week of increasingly public friction between Mr Netanyahu and the Biden administration. US officials have said an invasion of Rafah without a plan for the civilian population would lead to disaster.  Israel has carried out airstrikes in Rafah almost daily, even after telling civilians in recent weeks to seek shelter there from ground combat in the city of Khan Younis, just to the north.  Overnight into Saturday, three airstrikes on homes in the Rafah area killed 28 people, according to a health official and Associated Press journalists who saw the bodies arriving at hospitals.

Palestinian men rounded up and stripped by Israeli forces in Gaza before being taken to an undisclosed location (Screengrab/X)

Late last year, images shared by Israeli soldiers caused widespread anger as they showed scores of blindfolded and handcuffed Palestinian men in Gaza City who were forced to strip down to their underwear.

Israeli media had claimed the images were of Hamas members surrendering themselves. However, among them were doctors, teachers and journalists, including Diaa al-Kahlout, a correspondent for Araby al-Jadeed.

Since then, similar instances of abuse have been captured on camera. Last week, the Palestinian foreign affairs ministry called for an international probe into "Israeli massacres" in Gaza after the discovery of a mass grave.

The bodies of 50 men, women and children were discovered in body bags in a schoolyard in the northern Gaza Strip.

Some lawyers see that the crimes stated by the ICJ are not forbidden as long as the occupation conducts them without "genocidal intent". | UN special rapporteur on the occupied territories, Francesca Albanese, declared that "Israel" is violating orders issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to immediately protect Palestinians’ rights and cease all activities amounting to genocide. "Israel" has until February 23 to hand over a report to the ICJ regarding its compliance with the six orders issued. The ICJ orders also obliged it to “take immediate and effective measures to enable the provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance."

Permalink British documents reveal Israeli plans to nullify Egyptian sovereignty over strategic Sinai Peninsula

The story of Israel’s ambitious plan to grab the Sinai Peninsula, or at least part of it, from Egypt, goes back to around 57 years ago. It involved pro-Israel lobbyists in the West, and started to raise questions about the legitimacy of Egypt’s sovereignty over the strategic territory after the June 1967 Six Day War, British documents unearthed at the National Archives in Kew reveal. | During the war, Israel occupied Sinai, along with the West Bank and Gaza in Palestine, as well as the Syrian Golan Heights. The Sinai Peninsula covers an area of about 61,000 square km, approximately six per cent of Egypt’s total area, and is equivalent to nearly a quarter of the area of Israel.  The documents show that although Britain’s position was that Egyptian sovereignty over Sinai was evident, it considered the judicial status of this sovereignty a “card” to use when it served British interests. Ever since the 1967 war, they reveal, the Israelis “have from time to time flown a number of exploratory kites on the future of Sinai.”

Permalink "We Must Be Ready for War With Russia"

Dmitry Medvedev (Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council) (Дмитрий Медведев) | Sunak, Scholz, Macron, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish and other NATO bosses keep saying that "we must be ready for war with Russia. And although Russia has repeatedly said that it has no plans for conflict with NATO and EU countries, the extremely dangerous chatter on this topic continues. The reasons are obvious. It is necessary to divert voters' attention in order to justify multi-billion dollar spending on the shabby Banderite "Ukraine". After all, the huge money is spent not on solving social problems in these countries, but on the war in a dying country that is a stranger to taxpayers, whose population has scattered across Europe and terrorizes the locals. That is why every day the leaders of these countries say: we must prepare for war with Russia and continue to help Ukraine, and therefore - we need to produce more tanks, shells, drones and other weapons.

But all European bosses are cynically lying to their citizens. If, God forbid, such a war were to happen, it would not follow the NWO scenario. It will not be fought in trenches with artillery, armored vehicles, drones, and REB [РЭБ = “radio-electronic combat”]. NATO is a huge military bloc, with a population of almost 1 billion people and a combined military budget of up to 1.5 trillion dollars.

Therefore, given the incompatibility of our military potentials, we will have no choice. The response will be asymmetric. Ballistic and cruise missiles with special warheads will be used to protect the territorial integrity of our country. This is based on our doctrinal military documents and is well known to everyone. And this is the proverbial Apocalypse. The end of everything.

That is why Western politicians should tell their voters the bitter truth, not keep them as brainless idiots. Explain to them what will really happen, not repeat the false mantra of being ready for war with Russia. (DeepL + LanguageTool)

Sylvia Chebet | Germany's backing of Israel against genocide charges at the International Court of Justice has infuriated Namibia, whose indigenous people bore the brunt of German soldiers' bloodlust 120 years ago. | The remains of an estimated 70,000 Namibians who perished in what is considered the first genocide of the 20th century lie under the dunes of the sprawling Namib Desert. Many others were washed into the depths of the ice-cold waters of the South Atlantic Ocean. This colonial-era genocide of numbing proportions was perpetrated by German forces on the indigenous Herero and Nama people between 1904 and 1908. [...] In 2021, after years of negotiations, Germany formally acknowledged the blot on its colonial history as "a genocide". By way of reparation, the European nation agreed to fund projects in Namibia worth US $1.3 billion over 30 years for its role in the mass killings.  But even before the dust could settle on the injustices of 120 years ago, Germany made a decision that shocked Namibia and reopened old wounds. The German government pledged to intervene on Israel's behalf in the case brought by South Africa at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague over what is widely regarded as a "genocide" against Palestinians in Gaza.

Permalink Bill Gates once again pushing deadly malaria vaccines on world’s poorest countries

In 2024, billionaire eugenicist Bill Gates is planning to spend more money than ever before on new health "innovations" for the world's poorest countries, some of which are already receiving shipments of his latest malaria "vaccines." | At the recent World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, Gates was asked by reporters about his plans for the coming year, which include unleashing not only new malaria injections but also jabs for tuberculosis (TB), HIV, and even the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).  Around the same time, Cameroon launched the world's first malaria vaccination program using Gates' injections. Reports indicate that the shots are only about 13 percent effective, but can supposedly reach a 90 percent effectiveness rate when used in conjunction with mosquito nets and malaria tablets.  Worded more accurately, the shots themselves are useless, and the nets and tablets are what does all the actual work. This was shown in tests where prophylactic doses of malaria drugs all on their own are already 90 percent effective at preventing malaria.

Palestinians living in the occupied West Bank say they are psychologically exhausted as Israel takes photos of them without their consent, not knowing what they do with their data. | Rotating cameras planted on a rooftop terrace "follow our every move", said Al Khalil resident Umm Nasser, protesting intensified Israeli surveillance of her occupied West Bank city since the start of Israel's war on besieged Gaza. 💬 "Psychologically, I'm exhausted," admitted the 55-year-old Palestinian woman. She lives above the Abu al Rish checkpoint, the site of frequent violence at the heart of historical Al Khalil. [...] Umm Nasser said that surveillance enhanced by artificial intelligence tools has become "especially difficult during the war" between Israel and the Palestinian resistance group Hamas in besieged Gaza. To Umm Nasser, the use of technology is stifling. 💬 "We've tried putting pieces of wood or fabric over the cameras to maintain our privacy, but every time, the army removes them," she said. Gamzoo has since deleted the post as well as his Instagram account after the image went viral and was widely shared by pro-Palestinian accounts.  Several social media users condemned the photo, with some likening it to images from Abu Ghraib where Iraqi detainees were humiliated and tortured by American guards. A US report says 32 captives held by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip have been killed in Israeli bombings as the occupying regime continues its brutal war on the besieged territory. | Citing a document compiled by Israeli intelligence officers, the New York Times reported on Tuesday that 32 of the 136 captives held by Hamas have died since Israel began its bombing campaign against Gaza in early October. Israel's chief military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said on Tuesday that 31 of them were pronounced dead. The daily newspaper, citing four military sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, reported that Israel is also assessing unconfirmed intelligence indicating that at least 20 other captives may have also been killed by the bombings. The Israeli military also told the New York Times that it was “deploying all available resources to locate and retrieve as much information as possible” regarding the captives currently held by Hamas. The latest development comes as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is on a tour in the region, purportedly seeking a new deal on a truce and the release of captives.

Permalink Journalist Hersh sees Germany in turmoil since Nord Stream sabotage

The American fear was that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz might let the Russian gas flow, easing German economic worries, he wrote | Germany has been in economic and political turmoil since the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines were blown up, US investigative journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh opined in his blog on Substack. 💬 "The American fear was that [German] Chancellor [Olaf] Scholz [...] might [...] let the [Russian] gas flow, easing German economic worries and reinstating an important energy force for German industry [following the sabotage on the Nord Streams]. That would not be allowed to happen, and Germany has been in economic and political turmoil since," he wrote.  On September 27, 2022, Nord Stream AG reported "unprecedented damage" on three strings of the offshore gas pipelines of the Nord Stream system. Later, Swedish seismologists said they had identified two explosions on the route of the Nord Stream pipelines on September 26, 2022. Following the incident, the Russian prosecutor general’s office opened a case on charges of international terrorism.  On February 8, 2023, Hersh wrote that, in June 2022, with assistance from Norwegian experts, the Navy divers planted the remotely triggered explosives that, three months later, destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines. Later, The New York Times reported, citing US officials, that the sabotage on the gas pipelines could have been carried out by a certain "pro-Ukrainian group" that acted without the knowledge of the US authorities.

It is expected to issue a response soon, added van Huffelen.  Sources told De Telegraaf that a memo imposing a ban was already being prepared after Dutch officials considered Meta’s reaction to their concerns to be inadequate.
