Massive Israeli airstrike levels apartment building in central Beirut
The new Israeli massacre of Lebanese families comes on the heels of reports in western media claiming Tel Aviv is 'eager to reach a ceasefire agreement' with Lebanon | An eight-story residential building in the central Beirut neighborhood of Basta was destroyed after being hit by at least four Israeli missiles during the early hours of 23 November. At least six people have been confirmed killed and 24 injured. According to local reports, Israel once again used bunker-buster bombs inside the Lebanese capital due to the intensity of the blast and the amount of destruction caused. Reports from the site of the attack say the death toll is likely to rise due to the massive destruction that affected neighboring buildings. The Basta area in Beirut is crowded with residents and displaced persons. The Israeli army issued no prior evacuation warnings.
