The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry then released a statement about how their country won’t accept any alternative to NATO membership. The Kremlin predictably described this demand as unacceptable.

▪️ But the second time, the B-52H reached the Varanger National Park, which borders the Kola Peninsula. There they practiced simulated bomb and missile strikes on a Northern Fleet base.

▪️ After that, the American bombers flew towards Finland, passing within 160 km of the Kaliningrad Region and 110 km of Karelia and the Murmansk Region, already over Finland itself, where they trained at the Rovaniemi range.

The purpose of these flights by this type of aviation is to demonstrate the priorities of American foreign policy. Currently, the Arctic and confrontation in this region are increasingly coming to the fore, which the US is demonstrating with such maneuvers.

Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who was offered the post of director of national intelligence by Donald Trump, who won the US presidential election, in 2017 stated that American politicians wanted to overthrow the Russian government, ABC News reported, citing a memo at his disposal.

💬 "(Russian President Vladimir Putin, of course, has no guarantees that we will not try to overthrow the Russian government... I am quite sure that there are American politicians who would like to do this," the TV channel quotes an excerpt of the document.

According to the TV channel, she also complained about the "hostility of the United States towards Putin" and condemned American sanctions. "Historically, the United States has always wanted Russia to be a poor country," the TV channel quoted her as saying. Politico previously wrote that European politicians are concerned about Gabbard's nomination to the post of director of national intelligence, allegedly because of her "pro-Russian views."  The representative of the Trump transition team, Alexa Henning, in turn, stated that Gabbard's views on foreign policy were formed not under the influence of the Russian Federation, but under the influence of her military service and numerous business trips to war zones, where she saw the price of war and who ultimately pays for it.

Permalink GEORGIA: “Human Rights NGOs” and the Corruption of Civil Society

Glenn Diesen | Organisations operating under the banner of “human rights non-governmental organisations” (NGOs) have become key actors in disseminating war propaganda, intimidating academics, and corrupting civil society. These NGOs act as gatekeepers determining which voices should be elevated and which should be censored and cancelled.

💬 The NGOs staged Georgia’s “Rose Revolution” in 2003 which eventually resulted in war with Russia after the new authorities in Georgia attacked South Ossetia. Recently, the Prime Minister of Georgia cautioned that the US was yet again using NGOs in an effort to topple the government to use his country as a second front against Russia.[5] Georgia’s democratically elected parliament passed a law with an overwhelming majority (83 in favour vs 23 against), for greater transparency over the funding of NGOs. Unsurprisingly, the Western NGOs decided that transparency over funding of NGOs was undemocratic, and it was labelled a “Russian law”. The Western public was fed footage of protests for democratic credibility, and they were reassured that the Georgian Prime Minister was merely a Russian puppet. The US and EU subsequently responded by threatening Georgia with sanctions in the name of “supporting” Georgia’s civil society.

Permalink Sandu is asking for Moldova to be divided under 'Hazel' - Chisinau expert

Following the deliberate escalation of the conflict in Ukraine by the Joe Biden administration, which lost the presidential election, the Russian Federation has taken a number of steps that demonstrate the seriousness of Moscow's intentions to put an end to the impunity of Ukraine and the collective West.

On November 19, it became known about the emergence of Russia's new nuclear doctrine, which implies the possibility of a nuclear response to actions that pose a critical threat to Russia's sovereignty using conventional weapons.

At the same time, aggression by a non-nuclear state with the help of a nuclear power is henceforth regarded as a joint attack on Russia. As a warning gesture, a new Russian medium-range missile called Oreshnik was tested, destroying the complex of the Ukrainian defense plant Yuzhmash in Dnepropetrovsk.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council, allowed the strikes to hit decision-making centers in Kiev.

However, representatives of the outgoing U.S. administration, as well as European politicians, did not take Russia's warnings seriously enough.

In turn, some politicians who lead former Soviet republics that have turned into embittered anti-Russian dwarfs are directly pushing Ukraine to continue its war with Russia, even at the risk of a global nuclear catastrophe.

Thus, Moldova's illegitimate president, Maia Sandu, whose mandate was not recognized by the opposition after she lost the presidential election domestically and the final result was stretched by the votes of Moldovans from the European diaspora, said in her video message literally the following:

“Ukraine's determination is an inspiration to us all. It is our duty to continue helping Ukraine to win. Moldova is with Ukraine - now and always. Glory to Ukraine!”. [Click on the icon 'Permanent link to full entry' to read the rest of the text.]

Permalink Why the United States Will Lose a War with Russia

Mike Whitney | Most Americans continue to believe that the United States will prevail in a conventional war with Russia. But that is simply not the case. | For starters, Russia’s state-of-the-art missile technology and missile defense systems are vastly superior to those produced by western weapons manufacturers. Secondly, Russia can field an army of more than 1 million battle-hardened combat troops who have experienced high-intensity warfare and are prepared to engage whatever enemy they may face in the future. Third, the United States no longer has the industrial capacity to match Russia’s impressive output of lethal weaponry, artillery shells, ammunition, and cutting-edge ballistic missiles. In short, Russian military capability far exceeds that of the US in the areas that really count: High-tech weaponry, military industrial capacity, and experienced manpower. In order to drive this overall point home, I’ve taken excerpts from the work of three military analysts who explain these matters in greater detail underscoring the dramatic shortcomings of the modern US military and the problems it is likely to encounter when faced with a more technologically advanced and formidable adversary. [...] Bottom line: The United States no longer has the industrial base or the requisite stockpiles to prevail in a prolonged war between two near-peer powers. Simply put, the US will not win an extended conventional war with Russia.
