But Palestinian experts say it is “already happening.” | The issue of Israel’s creeping annexation of the West Bank has resurfaced in recent days after a leaked recording of Israel’s finance minister Bezalel Smotrich revealed a “dramatic” plan to impose permanent Israeli control over the West Bank “without the government being accused of annexing it,” as Smotrich was recorded saying. ● Smotrich’s statements, recorded by the Peace Now Israeli NGO and published by CNN and the New York Times, were made during a speech he gave to settler leaders earlier in June. Smotrich was recorded saying that he had elaborated a plan in the past year and a half and exposed it to Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu, who was “fully onboard.” ● The plan centers around transferring administrative authorities in the West Bank from the Israeli army to the civil authorities of the Israeli government. However, he omits to mention some most crucial parts, namely the real perpetrators and the reason and motivation behind their crimes. The perpetrators are not just “israelis”, They are Jewish “israelis”. Furthermore, there are about 1.5 million Palestinians who live in Palestine occupied in 1948, who are forced to be called “israelis” and those Palestinians have nothing to do with the genocidal crimes of Jewish “israelis”. Moreover, violent Jewish American supremacists are not necessarily “israelis”, they are simply Jewish Americans. Violent Jewish American supremacists are not necessarily “israelis”. The second missing point in the video is the Jewish ideology that animates the perpetrators of these atrocities. A third one is the wanton destruction of schools, hospitals, historic and religious building such as churches and mosques.

The death toll from the Israeli regime’s airstrikes against a designated safe zone for displaced people in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip has risen to at least 50 people. | ActionAid UK, the British chapter of an international relief organization, reported the fatalities on Sunday. ● Earlier in the day, Israeli warplanes fired eight missiles toward makeshift shelters housing internally-displaced persons in the city’s northwest.

💬 “These shelters were supposed to be safe havens for innocent civilians, yet they became targets of brutal violence,” the organization said. ● “Children, women, and men are being burned alive under their tents and shelters,” it noted, warning that the number of fatalities could rise.

Reacting to the massacre, the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas called it an “egregious affront” to a recent ruling by the International Court of Justice, which ordered the Israeli regime to “immediately” halt its offensive against Rafah.
