"Little by little," he responded when asked about possible expansion in the “In Israel: Ministers of Chaos” documentary. ● The far-right minister also claimed that Jerusalem would eventually extend to Damascus in Syria, in line with the "Greater Israel" ideology based on religious interpretations of a so-called "promised land." ● The remarks follow previous controversial statements made by Smotrich, who denied the existence of a Palestinian people and said a Palestinian city should be "wiped off the face of the earth."

Israel has launched an airstrike in central Beirut, Lebanon, outside of the city’s southern suburbs, killing about two dozen people and wounding scores of others. | The Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon said on Thursday night at least 22 people were killed and 117 wounded in Israeli strikes on Beirut this evening. The Israeli army attacked the central area of the city. A huge number of people were injured they were brought to nearby hospitals in the surrounding neighborhood. The hospitals have asked for no one to come and donate blood because they are already overwhelmed. People could be seen overwhelmed with grief outside the American University of Beirut Medical Center, where some of the casualties were being treated. People outside told reporters that they saw streaks in the sky and, of course, big explosions. People were running and screaming in these neighborhoods, absolutely traumatized. Many people have come from the southern suburbs of Beirut and are sheltering in the densely packed neighborhoods in central Beirut. About 700,000 people emptied from these suburbs into these areas.

The move follows a similar one last October when the Al Mayadeen English account was shortly suspended on Instagram and later restored following an appeal. At the time, neither a reason nor a prior notice was provided for the suspension.

NATO kicks off its "Steadfast Noon" nuclear exercise on Monday. Member countries will be deploying 60 aircraft, including F-35A jets and B-52 bombers, across the U.K., Belgium, and the Netherlands. The annual drills, involving 2,000 personnel, simulate missions with U.S. nuclear warheads to showcase NATO’s nuclear readiness. NATO clarifies this is a regular exercise, and definitely not a reaction to recent Russian statements.
