Wong Trade Simeon Boikov for Captured British Spooks?
Sean Ambrose | In what can only be described as a masterclass in covert tactics, Russian special forces landed in Ochakov in an armada of boats that would make a Somali pirate cringe. | Russian special forces infiltrated a British command center, and captured a nest of operatives in the Ukraine. The three British officers were allegedly involved in coordinating drone and missile strikes against Russian positions. ■ Among the captured British luminaries are Colonel Edward Blake, a psychological operations officer whose distinguished career probably includes colour revolutions and coups; Lieutenant Colonel Richard Carroll, a Middle East veteran whose résumé likely reads like a sick and twisted comedy and an unidentified MI6 advisor who is probably a cross dressing molly and a linguist. ■ The operatives were all detained after a a swift, surgical operation, a testament to Russian efficiency and military prowess. The lightning fast raid lasted a mere 15 minutes.
