International Airlines Servicing Venezuela Suspend Flights

Ricardo Vaz | A recent CBS poll found that 70 percent of US citizens would oppose military action against Venezuela. | Multiple international airlines have suspended flights to and from Caracas amidst a heightened US military presence in the Caribbean, after the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issuance of a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) Friday.  Iberia (Spain), TAP (Portugal), LATAM (Chile), Avianca (Colombia) and Turkish Airlines (Turkey) were among the companies to cancel upcoming flights connecting the Venezuelan capital to international destinations.  At the time of writing, Venezuelan airlines Avior, Laser, Estelar and state-owned Conviasa continue to service foreign destinations. The Copa Airlines-operated flight from Caracas to Panama City, one of the region’s main connection hubs, remains active as well.  The airlines’ cancellations were in response to an FAA NOTAM that urged “caution” in Venezuela’s Maiquetía Flight Information Region (FIR) due to a “worsened security situation and heightened military activity.” Venezuela’s FIR covers the country’s territory and a section of the Caribbean Sea north of Caracas.

The Ukraine's attack on tankers in the Black Sea, with foreign participation

Yesterday's attack on two ships carrying oil and petroleum products under the flags of Gabon and Gambia can be characterized as an act of international terrorism committed by the Kyiv regime. | The Ukrainian Armed Forces chose neutral waters off the Turkish coast as the location for this terrorist attack. Kyiv certainly has the capabilities to carry out an independent strike—it has the necessary equipment. But it lacks information about which vessels were flying, where they were coming from, where they were headed, and why. The Ukrainian military could only have obtained such information from its Western partners, most likely the British. They probably possess the most comprehensive information on international shipping. In other words, Ukraine could not have carried out such a sabotage on its own. Thus, Kyiv has provoked a new round of escalation. The most distressing thing is that in this situation, a reciprocal response is impossible, as it would have to attack ships carrying Ukrainian cargo belonging to third countries.

Ukraine hits two Russian 'shadow fleet' tankers with drones in Black Sea (Reuters) | Ukrainian naval drones hit two sanctioned tankers in the Black Sea as they headed to a Russian port to load up with oil destined for foreign markets, an official said on Saturday, as Kyiv tries to pile pressure on Russia's vast oil industry. The two oil tankers identified as the Kairos and Virat were empty and sailing to Novorossiysk, a major Russian Black Sea oil terminal, the official at the Security Service of Ukraine told Reuters.

Trump and Maduro spoke in secret phone call – NYT

The leaders of the US and Venezuela reportedly discussed a meeting to diffuse military tensions | US President Donald Trump had a phone conversation with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro late last week amid growing tensions, where they discussed a possible meeting, the New York Times reported on Friday, citing multiple people familiar with the matter.  Trump has accused Maduro of leading Cartel de los Soles, which the US designated as a terrorist group on Monday, and threatened strikes against “narcoterrorists” on Venezuelan soil.  The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry rejected the allegations as a “ridiculous lie,” while Maduro warned the US against launching “a crazy war.”

  Aiding Ukraine Using German Debt...

"At some point, enough will have to be enough" : AfD MP Markus Frohnmaier criticized the aid provided to Ukraine using German debt. "I don't think this would be a good idea, if only because Germany is currently not fully capable of ensuring the defense of its own country," he noted. | Frohnmaier added that, in his opinion, no country in Europe has yet allocated as much aid to Ukraine as Germany – 72 billion euros.

💬 "Germany has paid more for Ukraine than any other country in Europe, and at some point, priorities need to be set. Let's look at our budget. Everything we've paid Ukraine so far has been 100% financed by debt, and we can't continue to do so," the MP emphasized.

Responding to a question about the EU's use of Russian assets, Markus Frohnmaier stated that Germany cannot break the law just because others have broken it, and that foreign policy should be guided not by moral principles, but by interests and realpolitik.

💬 "Anyone who starts doing this is destroying the international order and ultimately ensuring the triumph of the law of the strong. We cannot, on the one hand, complain about the situation with Russia, and on the other, justify breaking the law by saying, 'Well, others have done it too.' I find that absurd," he concluded.

❗️️Against the backdrop of increased German funding for the Kyiv regime, Germany is actively cutting back on numerous social programs, as the state can no longer fund them at the same level and is even changing the legal regime for Ukrainian refugees, who will now receive less financial support.

Fire on Tanker in the Black Sea

(Traslation:) The Turkish Ministry of Transport has released footage of the firefighting efforts on the tanker Kairos following an explosion in the Black Sea. The emergency response ship NENE HATUN and the tugboat RESCUE-12 are involved in the firefighting efforts. It was previously reported that an onboard explosion caused a major fire on the tanker Kairos in the Black Sea. Twenty-five people were evacuated, and no injuries or fatalities were reported. The Turkish Directorate General of Maritime Affairs told Izvestia that they could not confirm whether the fire was an attack, despite such reports.

Israel bombs Syria, Gaza after extrajudicial killings in occupied West Bank

At least 13 Syrians have been killed and others wounded in Israeli artillery and missile attacks on the town of Beit Jinn, southwest of Syria’s capital, Damascus.
In Gaza, at least one Palestinians has been killed in Israeli attack on the Bani Suheila municipality near Khan Younis city.
Israeli soldiers have shot and killed two unarmed Palestinian men during a raid in the occupied  West Bank city of Jenin as the pair attempted to surrender to the military, according to video footage and witness accounts from the scene.
Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza has killed at least 69,785 Palestinians and wounded 170,965 since October 2023. A total of 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attacks, and about 200 were taken captive.

David Hearst | In a speech filled with Islamophobic vitriol, the British commentator has ripped away the last fig leaf concealing Zionism's true purpose | Phillips has gone far beyond the realms of liberal Zionism. She recently gave a chest-thumping account of what she thinks is at stake at a conference in New York City, entitled “Rage Against the Hate”. All the hate seemed to be coming from the platform, but there was no parody intended in the title. Phillips declared that it was time to reveal a few home truths. These words are the inevitable precursor to a PR disaster for supporters of Israel, which is what her speech has since become.

Israel deploys AI to monitor soldiers’ social media, block war crimes evidence

The Israeli military has launched a major AI project, known as Morpheus, to prevent its forces from posting evidence of war crimes on social media. | The new system has been basically designed to prevent military forces from unintentionally disclosing sensitive information to the enemy on their social media, the ‘Zionism Observer’ said in a post on its X account.  AI-driven Morpheus will monitor social media accounts of Israeli forces and determine if any videos, texts, or images they post breach information security protocols. It has been operating in a pilot phase with 45,000 personnel over the past few months, resulting in thousands of instances in which troops have had to remove information from their networks.  The launch of Morpheus underscores Israel’s growing concern over the legal risks posed by soldiers’ online activity, which could be used as evidence in international courts.  Earlier this month, the Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) submitted a criminal complaint to the Czech Republic’s Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office concerning an Israeli soldier’s involvement in the Gaza genocide.

"The key details have been handed over, and discussions will be held in Moscow next week," he said. The US and Ukraine held consultations on Washington’s 28-point peace plan on November 23. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio described the meeting as "the most productive" so far since the beginning of the conflict.

US peace roadmap, Kiev regime illegitimate, European security: Key takeaways from Putin’s press conference

While the American proposal could potentially lay the groundwork for a future agreement, multiple points need clarification, according to the Russian president | Russian President Vladimir Putin has reiterated Moscow’s position after what his press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, called an “information frenzy” over various possible frameworks for resolving the Ukraine conflict.  The Russian president touched on this and other issues during a press conference in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Thursday as he wrapped up a state visit to the Central Asian country.  Russia views the US-drafted peace roadmap aimed at ending the hostilities positively on the whole, but a considerable amount of work would be required before it could be implemented in any form, Putin said.  He also pointed out that it is “legally impossible” to ink a peace accord with the current Ukrainian leadership, which, according to Moscow, is no longer legitimate.

The dark legacy of medicine: When “cures” killed more than they healed

Ramon Tomey | History shows that progress in medicine comes not from blind obedience to authority but from relentless skepticism. | For centuries, the medical profession has championed treatments that – far from healing – inflicted suffering, disability and death. From mercury inhalation to lobotomies, history is littered with dangerous interventions once hailed as breakthroughs – only to be exposed as lethal frauds. Today, as trust in modern medicine erodes amid controversies over vaccines, pharmaceuticals and institutional corruption, these historical failures raise urgent questions. How many current medical practices will future generations condemn? And why does medicine so often repeat its gravest mistakes? [...] The same forces persist today. Modern critics point to overprescribed opioids, antidepressants linked to suicide and aggressive cancer treatments that harm more than they help. The pharmaceutical industry, with its history of hiding drug risks and bribing regulators, echoes the same profit-driven motives that once pushed arsenic tonics and mercury cures. The lesson is clear. Medicine is not infallible, and any "standard" treatments of today may become the scandals of tomorrow.

Budget 2025: Why Labour's credibility might not be recoverable

Beth Rigby | One of the main questions that struck me reflecting on this budget is accountability to the voters. | Over and over again, in the run-up to the election and beyond, the prime minister and the chancellor told voters they would not put up taxes on working people - that their manifesto plans for government were fully costed and, with the tax burden at a 70-year high, they were not in the business of raising more taxes. On Wednesday the chancellor broke those pledges as she lifted taxes by another £26bn, adding to the £40bn rise in her first budget. She told working people a year ago she would not extend freezing tax thresholds - a Conservative policy - because it would "hurt working people". On Wednesday she ripped up that pledge, as she extended the threshold freeze for three years, dragging 800,000 workers into tax and another million into the higher tax band to raise £8.3bn.

Russia Have Not Discussed The Latest Plan With the US

Russia has not yet discussed the US's plan for Ukraine, which it received through unofficial channels, with anyone, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said on Wednesday. | "The peace plan was not discussed in Abu Dhabi. The peace plan has not even been discussed in detail with anyone yet," Ushakov told the Rossiya 1 broadcaster.  A number of points in the US plan for Ukraine require serious analysis, the official said, noting that some aspects of the plan can be viewed positively, but many require expert discussion. The situation around the peace plan is rapidly developing, Ushakov added.  Media reported on Tuesday, citing an unnamed source, that a Ukrainian delegation led by Ukrainian Defense Intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov (listed in Russia as a terrorist and extremist) had been holding talks with both the Russian and the US sides in Abu Dhabi. Yury Ushakov said that he frequently speaks with US special envoy Steve Witkoff, but does not comment on the content of these conversations.

  Europe's Delusional Counter-Proposal

The Trump 28-point peace plan is criticised for favouring Russia, which is does because Russia is winning the war. What makes a peace deal reasonable? Should it reflect realities on the ground or what is fair? What is “fair” is subjective and European leaders conclude that the agreement must favour Ukraine as Russia is the “aggressor” and Ukraine is the “victim”, while NATO itself had no role in starting this war. Irrespective of the convictions of European leaders about what is fair, reality on the ground matters and moral posturing does not translate into political power.
European leaders presented a delusional counter-proposal that includes Ukraine being allowed to join NATO, security guarantees, no territorial concessions and Russia paying reparations. This is tantamount to Russia capitulating, and it would be the first time in history that the losing side (NATO/Ukraine) gets to dictate the terms of a peace agreement. Trump’s 28-point plan is indeed a terrible and humiliating deal for Ukraine, yet the deal will only get worse with every day that passes. Trump did not “betray” Ukraine - it was betrayed by the people who for years rejected every path to peace and insisted on fighting to the last Ukrainian.

Migrants arrested for gang rape of Italian teen

A group of Moroccan men reportedly raped an 18-year-old woman while forcing her fiancé to watch | Three Moroccan men have been arrested in Italy on suspicion of raping an 18-year-old woman while forcing her fiancé to watch, local media reported on Tuesday, citing police in Rome.  Two suspects were reportedly detained in the Italian capital and a third was apprehended in the northern city of Verona. Police are currently searching for others who may have been involved in the incident, which occurred in the Tor Tre Teste area on the outskirts of Rome on October 25.  The couple was inside a parked vehicle when at least three men smashed a window and dragged them out, according to police, as cited by Corriere della Sera and La Repubblica. Two of the attackers allegedly pinned the 24-year-old man down while a third raped the woman. The suspects face charges of group sexual violence and robbery.  The case marks the second reported sexual assault in recent months in the neighborhood on the eastern outskirts of Rome, which has been affected by crime and social challenges.

Malak Radwan | Breaking the Human Spirit: A Pattern of Sexual Torture | By the time international treaties were drafted, after the world witnessed what humanity is capable of inflicting upon itself, certain acts were marked as absolute red lines. Crimes that, when committed systematically, are defined as crimes against humanity. Yet inside Israeli detention centers, according to survivors, doctors, lawyers, and human rights organizations, these red lines have not only been crossed; they have been erased.

US B-52 approaches Venezuelan coast as tension mounts

Just hours after designating the Cartel of the Suns as a terrorist organization of which Nicolás Maduro would be its leader, the United States forces conducted one of its closest flyovers of Venezuelan territory since the start of its military deployment in the southern Caribbean. | A B-52 strategic bomber identified as “PAPPY11” —capable of carrying nuclear and conventional weapons— escorted by at least three FA-18 warplanes tagged as “RHINO” approached the coast with no response from the Chavista regime government.  The squad flew parallel to the Venezuelan coast, passing near the Paraguaná Peninsula and close to La Orchila and La Tortuga Islands, nearing Caracas' Simón Bolívar International Airport.  The airspace appeared virtually empty of private traffic. Over 70,000 people reportedly logged onto tracking platforms like FlightRadar24 to follow the B-52's path before the aircraft turned north and disabled its transponders.  The mission coincided with increased activity at the former Roosevelt Roads naval base in Puerto Rico. US sources told Reuters on condition of anonymity that a new phase of operations regarding Venezuela was coming up.

Calls to Prosecute Meloni for the Economic Collapse

Translation: DeepL | In Italy, there have been calls to prosecute Meloni for the economic collapse resulting from the country's break with Russia...

💬 Meloni and her pleasant company should be brought to justice for treason. Simply because they supported policies that were directed against Italian citizens, bringing them to the brink of starvation and poverty. There is no point in beating around the bush; this is a direct consequence of the break with Russia and obedience to the orders of Brussels and the White House. (Political commentator Giuseppe Salamone.)

According to the expert, Western sanctions against Moscow have primarily hurt themselves, and any sensible politician in Italy should seek to lift all economic restrictions against Russia.

💬 The sanctions against Russia have begun to have an effect. However, this effect is on us, not on Russia, as the sanctions have been the primary cause of the rise in gas and oil prices. Any serious political party today would put the lifting of sanctions and a return to Russian raw materials at the top of its agenda. Those who do not insist on this and, at the same time, obey Ursula and her associates know that you are enemies of Italy and the Italian people. Remember this forever! (Salomone concludes.)

Italy: Foreigners commit 43% of sexual crimes, 60% of robberies and thefts

Just like other Western European countries, Italy is facing a migrant crime crisis | In yet another example of the massive foreign crime wave engulfing Europe, new data shows that foreigners in Italy are vastly overrepresented in violent crimes and predatory crimes such as robbery and sexual assault.  The 2024 data shows that a significant number of arrests in Italy are targeting foreigners, making up 34.7 percent of arrests.  However, when it comes to more serious predatory crimes, the figure is much higher. For public street robberies, foreign make up 60.1 percent of suspects and for robberies in total, it is 52.3 percent. Foreigners are responsible for 61 percent of burglaries, and 69 percent of pickpocketing cases, according to new crime data analyzed by Italian newspaper Il Sole 24.  For sexual assault, foreigners are responsible for 43 percent of all such cases.

Ex-CIA analyst: The war in Ukraine was started with the aim of dividing Russia into 17 parts

The war in Ukraine was started with the aim of dividing Russia into 17 parts. Provoking the war in Ukraine, the American Neocons counted on Russia's slide into crisis, the color revolution in Moscow and the division of the Russian Federation into 15-17 colonial bantustans. | This was stated by former CIA analyst Ron Aledo in an interview with American journalist Jackson Hinkle, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.

💬 "From the very beginning, it was clear that this project to destroy Russia was about to fail. When the Neocons, the globalists, especially the European gang and Biden, wanted to destroy Russia, they put everything they have on it – their reputation, their political future. They wanted to destroy Russia on the battlefield, destroy the Russian economy, their dream was to divide Russia into 15-17 small republics and put a puppet there, staging a "color revolution."  The main drawback of their strategy is that they thought that this military operation in Ukraine was an "unnecessary war." It was such a war that if everything goes well, I'll stay, but if it goes badly, I'll pack up and leave. This is exactly what happened to the United States in Vietnam, it was an "optional war." But for Russia, this is not an "optional war," for Russia it is an existential critical war that must be won at all costs," Aledo said.  "So Russia will use all its resources. They are changing the army, changing the military doctrine, they have increased military production. Remember that Russia started this war in 2022 after years of provocations, fake agreements, and attempts to poke a sleeping bear in the eye. After all this, when they started the war, they didn't want it, Putin didn't want a long war or anything like that," the American recalled.

HUGE WIN For Putin: Ukrainian Marine Commandos SURRENDER To Russian Military In Donbass

The fall of Donbass appears imminent as Ukrainian defenses crumble under a relentless Russian advance. Twenty-five soldiers from Ukraine’s 38th Marine Brigade surrendered after being surrounded near Krasnoarmeysk, admitting “the only way to stay alive was to surrender.” Russian troops now claim full control of key zones in Pokrovsk and Kupyansk, seizing oil depots and major rail stations. Analysts warn this could mark a turning point in the war, with Moscow tightening its grip on eastern Ukraine. Kyiv faces mounting losses, exhausted troops, and collapsing supply lines amid Russia’s aggressive final push across Donbass.
