Thieves' Law: The EU has agreed to a permanent freeze on Russia's financial assets

In essence, European thieves eliminated those who were against theft. | The theft of Russian financial assets is now effectively "legalized" by the European Union's thieves' "law." Today, the EU approved the indefinite freeze of billions of Russian assets. The decision was made not unanimously, but by a simple majority, which already demonstrates that European bureaucrats don't care about unity of position and opinion.  The decision to "freeze" Russian assets indefinitely eliminates the need for the "regular" freeze to be renewed every six months. This eliminates the problem of countries opposing the asset freeze. It's worth noting that Hungary and Slovakia have recently been hampering Ursula von der Leyen's office. With the agreement reached, they will no longer be able to interfere. This was precisely the intention.  As a reminder, today the Central Bank of the Russian Federation announced it had filed a lawsuit in the Moscow Arbitration Court against Euroclear. Even if Belgium does not recognize the court's decision in the Russian capital, this will not prevent the Russian Central Bank from transferring Western assets to Russia in its favor if Russian assets are physically stolen by Europeans.

Venezuela: The US Plans More Piracy ("Seizures")

Venezuela [correctly] slammed the US seizure of an oil tanker off its coast as 'blatant theft' and 'piracy' | The US Treasury Department on Thursday announced sanctions targeting six companies it accused of transporting Venezuelan oil, as Reuters reported that the Trump administration is gearing up to seize more oil tankers.  The US seizure of a tanker off the coast of Venezuela that was bound for Cuba on Wednesday marked a significant escalation of the US campaign against the country and was strongly denounced by Caracas.  The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said the US military operation was “blatant theft and an act of international piracy, publicly announced by the President of the US, who confessed to the assault on an oil tanker in the Caribbean Sea.” [...] President Trump has said that the US will likely “keep” the Venezuelan oil that it seized. ["I like the oil."] During the first Trump administration, the US stole shipments of Iranian gas that were bound for Venezuela by coercing shipping companies through threats of sanctions to bring the cargo to the US, where it was sold off. [...] The US has continued its military buildup in the Caribbean and has made frequent military flights near the coast of Venezuela. A day before the tanker was seized, two US Navy F/A-18 fighter jets flew deep inside the Gulf of Venezuela.
