Dramatically different versions—The Russian version of the war in Ukraine dramatically differs from the version we are presented with in Norway. One of the versions is heavily tainted with lies, deception, and propaganda. The problem is which one. Because the Western version is well covered, this post will look at the issues as seen from the East. Such an angle is not only legitimate - it is necessary.

The West did not want to help Russia.—Resentment towards Russia is old. Several of the countries in the old Soviet Union experienced economic problems when the union was dissolved and the Berlin Wall fell. Jeffrey Sachs - a well-known American economist - led the work on economic reform in Poland in the 1990s with financial support from the US. Afterward, he was asked by Russia to assist them in the same process, but this time Washington clearly said NO, helping Russia was out of the question. He has since publicly criticized the US and the IMF for letting Russia collapse, saying: "Washington wanted Russia to go under. There was no interest in a prosperous, stable Russia. The goal was control."

Even then, Russia was an enemy, and the Cold War was still hanging on.—The result for Russia in the 1990s was a massive economic crisis, hyperinflation, and a collapse in living standards. A small group of oligarchs took control of large parts of the country's resources - often with Western assistance and corruption, and Russian fortunes were invested in the West. As Putin came to power and began to re-establish state control over the energy sector (such as Gazprom, Rosneft, etc.), he was increasingly seen as an obstacle to US-style "reforms".

💬 If everything goes according to plan, the end result will be a Middle East composed of disunited states, or mini-states, involved in intractable, internecine conflict, which would make it impossible for them to confront Israeli power and to provide any challenge to Israel’s control of Palestine.

It is widely realized now that the fall of President Bashar Assad’s regime would leave Syria riven by bitter ethnic, religious, and ideological conflict that could splinter the country into smaller enclaves. Already there has been a demographic shift in this direction, as both Sunnis and Alawites flee the most dangerous parts of the county, seeking refuge within their own particular communities. Furthermore, it is widely believed in Syria that, as the entire country becomes too difficult to secure, the Assad regime will retreat to an Alawite redoubt in the northern coastal region as a fallback position.

Syrian Kurds, about ten percent of the country’s population, are also interested in gaining autonomy or joining with a larger Kurdistan. The Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party (PYD)—linked to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), which has engaged in a separatist insurgency in Turkey’s Kurdish southeast region for nearly three decades—has gained control of key areas in northeast Syria. While Turkey has supported the Syrian opposition, it is terrified of a Kurdish autonomous zone in Syria, believing that it could provide a safe haven for staging attacks into Turkey. Moreover, Kurdish autonomy would encourage separatist sentiment within the Turkish Kurdish minority. Turkey has threatened to invade the border areas of Syria to counter such a development and Turkish armed forces with armor have been sent to Turkey’s border with the Syrian Kurdish region. A Turkish invasion would add further complexities to the fracturing of Syria.

I am realizing that you now may be facing the inevitable. You love writing, but your health is failing and you haven't been able to write much lately. I can understand that.

I'm writing simply to tell you that it has been a pleasure to have known you, and to have been in contact with you from time to time. I have found your writing very incisive and useful in clearing away a lot of fog around important issues. I have also posted a considerable number of your articles on both The People's Voice and Another World Is Possible over the years. For this I am very grateful. You have been the most important mainstay in my blogging activities. I am very sorry to see you go. I still hope you'll get better, of course, and that you'll take up writing again, but health's a bitch, as you will know. One can only do so much and perhaps a little more than that. And you have been doing a lot, a lot more. Very impressive! You deserve some rest now, Stephen.

I wish you all the best as always, and much peace and tranquility. As you're laying down your burden, know in your innermost heart that there really is nothing to be afraid of.

Illegitimately installed Biden regime criminals run the empire of lies and forever wars.

A previous article discussed Trump’s politicized indictment, ignoring his crimes of war and against humanity because of far greater guilt by illegitimately installed Dems.

A state of war has existed against Russia by the empire of lies since 2014 by use of expendable Ukrainian Nazified and conscript foot soldiers. The former nation state was transformed into a platform for perpetual US aggression against Russia, its cannon fodder troops crushed by its military and tactical superiority.

Yet in its latest fake news edition, the NYT again trampled on truth as follows, saying:

(Nazi-infested) “Ukraine rebuffed a Russian offensive over the winter (sic).” “Now, it is Ukraine’s turn to go on the attack (sic).” “Signs are everywhere that it is coming in the next month or so (sic).”

Each time Nazi-infested Ukraine attempted an offensive, Russian forces smashed it decisively. Most arms and equipment supplied by the US/West to the regime were destroyed. According to Wagner Group founder, Yevgeny Prigozhin, they captured and control the strategically important town of Artyomovsk. The regime sent tens of thousands of troops to their death in a futile effort to hold what’s lost to militarily superior Russian forces.

Yet the Biden regime continues throwing good money after bad in pursuit of a lost cause in Ukraine.

In cahoots with each other, they murdered prominent truth-telling Russian military correspondent, "Vladlen Tatarsky" (Maxim Yurievich Fomin), in cold blood at a St. Petersburg cafe.

Turning truth on its head and trampling on it in its latest fake news edition, the NYT falsely reported the following:

It wrongfully accused him of “represent(ing) a radical wing of pro-Russian, pro-invasion bloggers and activists (sic).” It trampled on truth by falsely calling Russian media “restrictive (to) disseminate news, opinion and pro-war propaganda.”

Censorship is longstanding US/Western practice by its ruling regimes and MSM co-conspirators. It’s worlds apart different from Russian truth-telling, especially on major issues mattering most.

In the empire of lies and its Western vassals, truth and full disclosure of what’s vital for everyone to know is banned and at times criminalized. The same reality applies to democracy as it should be, the real thing absent throughout the depraved, decadent West.

Liberating the strategically important town of Artyomovsk is key to freeing Donbass entirely from the scourge of Nazified occupation. It’s a major blow to the empire of lies and Western vassals, as well as to Nazi-infested Ukraine.

On Friday, according to Wagner Group head, Yevgeny Prigozhin:

Its units “surrounded” the town. One road alone was left open for regime troops to lay down their arms and surrender, along with letting civilians flee from harm’s way, adding Russian and Wagner Group fighters earlier combatted regime troops. “(T)oday (they’re) seeing more and more elders and children."

Over the past year, Russian forces obliterated Ukrainian Nazified and conscript cannon fodder. Citing the regime’s so-called general staff, MSM reported the following:

About 260,000 Ukrainian troops were killed. Nearly 250,000 others were wounded. Another 84,000 deserted their ranks to stay alive. About 28,000 were captured by Russian forces. In total, over 600,000 regime troops were wiped out, wounded, or otherwise taken out of action.

On Friday, the Munich Security Conference began, all things Russia and Nazi-infested Ukraine its main focus.

Presidents, prime ministers and other officials from scores of nations are attending, including the Biden regime’s Kamala Harris and interventionist Blinken. Germany’s delegation includes foreign minister Baerbock of we’re at war on Russia infamy. An array of unindicted war criminals include Biden regime officials, Baerbock, Britain’s Rishi Sunak, France’s Macron and US-installed NATO puppet Stoltenberg.

Ongoing from Friday through Sunday, no Russian officials were invited to attend for the first time since the 1990s. At a press conference days earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said the following:

💬 “We regret to say that in recent years, the conference has been increasingly transformed into such a transatlantic forum, losing its inclusiveness and objectivity.” “Interest in Moscow for this event dropped noticeably.”

In February 2007, Vladimir Putin addressed the Munich International Conference on Security, stating the following:

💬 “NATO put its frontline forces on our borders.” Its hostile actions are unrelated to “the modernization of the (war-making) alliance itself or with ensuring security in Europe.” “On the contrary, (they) represent a serious provocation that reduces the level of mutual trust.” “And we have a right to ask: against whom is this expansion intended?” “And what happened to assurances (that) western (regimes) made after the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact?”

Some inconvenient facts suppressed in the West by their ruling regimes and MSM press agents include what’s indisputable.

Hegemon USA and its NATO vassals bear full responsibility for war in Ukraine, not Russia. Its SMO is defensive in response to years of US orchestrated and directed aggression by Kiev on Donbass, what was prelude to the collective West’s war on Russia.

For days last February, ahead of Russia’s legitimate intervention, Ukrainian Nazis intensively shelled Donetsk and Lugansk in preparation for large-scale cross-border aggression. The launch of Russia’s SMO prevented a bloodbath.

From day-one of its campaign, there was never a doubt about its outcome — none about its ability to triumph over the made-in-the-USA, Nazi-infested, Ukraine monster. President Vladimir Putin explained what’s indisputable, a reality Russia should have been guided by long ago, saying:

💬 Russia’s “biggest mistake is that we trusted (the US/West) too much.” Separately, he said the following: “We cannot change past events, but we must at least admit them openly and honestly, without any reservations or politicking.”

What hegemon USA created, Russia is systematically annihilating. And there’s nothing that the empire of lies and its Western vassals can do to change the course of history.

In challenging Russia militarily, they bit off more than they can chew and swallow. Russia is a preeminent military power, China heading in the same direction — while the US-dominated West is in decline.

The battle to demilitarize and NeNazify Ukraine is proceeding as planned. Russia’s liberation of Soledar assures deNazification of Artyomovsk to follow. These triumphs hasten the end of Nazi occupation throughout Donbass, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Kharkov and demise of the US-created Ukraine monster overall.

Yet the collective West and its MSM co-conspirators can’t bear to admit what’s indisputable. According to New York Times fake news,

💬 “Ukraine denied the claim that Soledar” was liberated from Nazified occupation.

And this from the UK’s owned and controlled disseminator of state-approved propaganda, the BBC; defying reality on the ground, its so-called “reality check team (sic)” falsely claimed the following, saying:

💬 “Russia has not taken a key town or city in Ukraine for months (sic), despite intense efforts to achieve military gains (sic).” “Ukraine’s (US-installed puppet) is adamant (in falsely claiming that Russia is) not succeeding in (its) push to capture” Soledar.

Like other Western instruments of state-approved propaganda, the "Beeb" can’t bring itself to admit that Russia liberated Soledar from the scourge of Nazified occupation.

All things related to Russia and Ukraine were made-in-the-USA. Puppet Zelensky — a detached from reality buffoon — was a US creation, installed as an empire of lies front man for perpetual war on Russia.

Ignored by the fake Biden, US lawmakers and their MSM press agents is the growing risk of greater direct confrontation than already between the world’s leading nuclear powers.

On Christmas Day, Russia’s Deputy Security Council Chairman, Dmitry Medvedev, warned of the growing risk, stressing:

💬 “The only thing that stops stops our enemies (so far) is the understanding that Russia will be guided by (its publicly stated doctrine of) nuclear deterrence.” If there’s “a real threat (to the nation’s security), we will act” in self-defense as international law allows. US-dominated Western regimes are teetering “between a burning desire to maximally humiliate, dismember and destroy Russia, on the one hand, and the desire to avoid a nuclear apocalypse, on the other.”

Unless Russia’s security is guaranteed, things will “teeter on the brink of World War III and nuclear catastrophe.” Is the dominant criminal class in the empire of lies, its Western vassals and Ukrainian Nazis “ready…to unleash a full-fledged war against us, including a nuclear war?”

There’s “no one” in the West or Kiev for Moscow to “negotiate” with. “Our world (ominously) changed, forever.” “And the main question remains…what kind of future begins today?” "New disarmament agreements are currently unrealistic and unnecessary.” “(N)ormaliz(ation) requires guaranteed security for Russia, a notion the empire of lies rejects. — And wherever its ruling regimes go, Western vassal states follow, even at the expense of their own security and other vital interests.
